At the left is a collage I made during the Ann Arbor art fair in a workshop beneath Hollanders in Kerrytown... artists in residence provided materials and will publish these pieces in a book they're making.. these can turn out to be somewhat auto-biographical by the time you're finished..

in my case it started with great old stamps. I used green and blue for how I see the world of sky and earth, from my position in family and behind me is my personal world of color and emotion, how experiences and people have affected my life internally... at least that's how I read this after it was finished..I see a landscape of travel, the cottage, money and ration stamps representing my state of unemployment, and a small hope for peace.
